Terms of Service

1. Agreement
By creating an account or using The Career Boost (the "Service"), operated by The Career Boost ("we", "us"), you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service.
2. The Service
The Career Boost provides AI-powered CV analysis, ATS scoring, optimized resume rewriting, and cover letter generation. The output is generated by AI models and is provided for your informational use; you are responsible for reviewing, editing, and verifying any content before submitting it to employers.
3. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and keep your credentials secure. You are responsible for all activity under your account.
4. Plans, Payments and Renewals
The Career Boost offers a Free plan and paid plans (Pro Plan 1 and Pro Plan 2). Local payments are processed by Flutterwave (NGN); international payments are processed by Paddle (USD), who acts as the merchant of record for international transactions. Each paid plan unlocks Pro features for 30 days from the date of payment and does not auto-renew. Monthly analysis credits do not roll over.
5. Acceptable Use
You agree not to: (a) upload content you have no right to share; (b) attempt to reverse engineer, scrape, or overload the Service; (c) use the Service to create misleading or fraudulent documents; (d) resell or redistribute Pro features without written permission.
6. Your Content
You retain ownership of the resumes, job descriptions, and other content you upload. You grant The Career Boost a limited, non-exclusive license to process that content solely to provide the Service to you. We do not use your documents to train AI models.
7. Our Intellectual Property
All rights, title, and interest in and to the Service — including software, code, algorithms, user interfaces, designs, graphics, text, logos, branding, documentation, and all other materials provided by The Career Boost — are owned by The Career Boost or its licensors. These Terms do not grant you any right, title, or interest in our IP except for the limited right to use the Service as permitted herein. You may not copy, modify, distribute, sell, or lease any part of the Service or its content without our express written permission.
8. AI Output Disclaimer
AI-generated content may contain inaccuracies or omissions. We do not guarantee any particular outcome (e.g., interviews or job offers) from using the Service.
9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate access for breach of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, The Career Boost is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. Our aggregate liability for any claim relating to the Service is limited to the amount you paid us in the 3 months preceding the claim.
11. Changes
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be communicated via the Service or by email. Continued use after changes take effect constitutes acceptance.
